The Rainbow Fund is a Brighton and Hove based grant-giving fund for local LGBT and HIV/AIDS organisations.

It was set up by Gscene editor, James Ledward and Lib Dem Councillor Paul Elgood following the fundraising for the City’s ground-breaking AIDS Memorial, to provide a living legacy for the project.

Peer Action are delighted to accept the generous award/grant up to £5,460 which will ensure that our ever popular yoga and Wellbeing therapy days continue to provide support to our community.

Cycle ride review (10th June)

Not to confuse the Peer Action event with the naked bike ride also held in Brighton yesterday!  …although it was tempting!

We enjoyed a leisurely bike ride to Rottingdean and after a light pub lunch we took and easy ride home, finishing on Hove lawns for afternoon tea!

Thanks to the service users and partners who came along and made it a very enjoyable afternoon.

Kew Gardens – our day out!

Kew Gardens tree top walk…there is a lift!

I really enjoyed my day as I needed a break like that and loved the massive ancient trees (and walking above them!) also the new Temperate House with the music and acrobat, it was beautiful to watch in such a wonderful setting. We met up for our picnic and had a nice time together. A big thank you to Peer Action, it was a brilliant and chilled day for me!
